For today’s Stamping with Friends Blog Hop the theme is “window sheet card or 3D project”. I decided to showcase this easy to make Lip Balm Holder using the Unbounded Love Bundle.
Supplies
- Unbounded Love Bundle
- Unbounded Beauty DSP (floral piece measuring 1 5/8 x 2 5/8”)
- Narrow die for window cutout
- Pretty In Pink Cardstock measuring 4 1/4” x 7”
- Small scrap piece of white & Summer Splash Cardstock for sentiment and leaf die cuts
- Window sheet measuring 2 5/8” x 5/8”
- Berry Burst Ink Pad
- Adhesive of choice
- Tomboy Multi Mono Liquid Glue
- Tear & Tape
- Dimensionals
- Paper Trimmer
- Die Cutting Machine
DirectioNS
First, you are going to score your 4 1/4” x 7” Pretty In Pink Cardstock at 1/2”, 1 1/4”, 2”, 2 3/4” & 5” on the long side. Then you will flip on the short side and score at 3/4” on each side. You will cut out pieces as shown below and cut slits in the box portion.
Next, you will use a die cut of choice to cut out the window (must be long and narrow). Then you will glue in your window piece using your Tombow glue.
Use adhesive to fold down your top piece. Then use Tear & Tape to put together the box. Be sure to glue down your floral DSP before putting your box together. I used a glue dot at the top of the lip balm lid to keep it from rolling.
Finally, I stamped my sentiment in Berry Burst and die cut my sentiment and leaf pieces. The die I used for the sentiment cuts two pieces at once, so I cut my sentiment and then cut my Summer Splash piece and then used some scotch tape along the back to make it one piece. I attached with dimensionals and then used my Tombow glue to glue down my leaf accents.
These lip balm holders are so easy to make and the possibilities are endless. I loved using the Unbounded Love bundle for this window sheet blog. Here are some other lip balm holders I made using new and retired stamp sets. The possibilities are endless.

Thank you for the inspiration! I’ve seen several ideas for these but seem so complicated. Your project is on my list of 3D to make!
