Have you had a chance to check out Stampin’ Up’s new Kits Collection? There are some awesome kits to choose from. You may recognize some of them from years past. The Kerchief Card Kit was actually a Sale-A-Bration set from 2020. I loved it then and I still love it today!
It’s a beautiful and simple set that requires no stamping (although you can always replace the pre-printed sentiments with a stamped sentiment of your choice). Oh, and did I mention that this kit is only $12 (plus shipping)?
I decided to bust out this kit tonight and made a couple cards according to the enclosed instructions (see above picture). Then I decided to dust off the retired “Happy Birthday To You” stamp set from last year and designed a couple alternatives.
I just love how these turned out. I stamped the cake design in black ink on white cardstock and colored the images with Blends in complimentary colors and cut them out with the coordinating die. Next I die cut some leaves for both cards in Just Jade cardstock to add a little contrast and added a sentiment with some dimensionals. I finished the cards off by adding a little Wink of Stella to the flowers and a couple rhinestone embellishments.
I really love how these kits come with everything you need to complete gorgeous projects, but that you can also get creative and add your own personal touches! They are perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters.
