The Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and Ice Cream Cone Builder punch are the perfect set to make this fun shaker card. I used some of the coordinating retired Designer Series Paper and Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles, but you could easily use another bright paper and sequins to mimic this look.
Supplies:
- Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set
- Ice Cream Cone Buildee Punch
- Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles (retired)
- Ice Cream Corner DSP (retired) 4” x 5 1/4”
- Rich Razzleberry Cardstock 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” and scored in half
- Bermuda Bay Cardstock 1 1/4” x 5 1/4””
- Basic White Cardstock 1” x 5 1/4” and 4” x 5 1/4”
- Ink Pads in Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay & Cinnamon Cider
- One clear envelope
- Tear and Tape Adhesive
- Stampin’ Seal
Directions:
I started with stamping the “Happy Birthday” sentiment onto my piece of basic white 1” x 5 1/4”” cardstock in Rich Razzleberry ink and attaching it to my 1 1/4” x 5 1/4” Bermuda Bay cardstock layer with Stampin’ Seal. Then I attached that to my 4” x 5 1/4” piece of DSP.
Next I used some of the DSP to punch out the ice cream top and cone (but these could also be stamped instead).
I placed the finished DSP card front into a clear envelope (making sure it’s pushed all the way into one corner) and closed the short side with the attached adhesive. I then used some Tape & Tear to close the longer side.
I attached the “shaker” card front to the Rich Razzleberry card base. Then I stamped the inside sentiment in Bermuda Bay on my 4” x 5 1/4” Basic White cardstock. Finally I stamped the inside with a Cinnamon Cider cone (stamping off once for the background) and using Rich Razzleberry ink for the ice cream top.
This Sweet Ice Cream shaker card is such a fun and easy way to make a shaker card and would be fun to try with other stamps sets! Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
